Tender moments and your kiss
Begin to fade
Your touch feels reminiscent
Familiar; that odd rush of déjà vu
Someone, someplace
The view
I drift off to the sound of your heartbeat
Dreams cascading like a waterfall
No waves; tiny consequential ripples
Pushing me
Beyond the reef; my sanctuary, my comfort zone
