Tabula rasa
mantra counting beads
don’t breathe
exhale only
street scenes and
water fountains
the park feels familiar
but it’s all in the unknown
and discovery
he reaches for my hand
as we walk
intimacy
between palms and fingers
odd sensation
but somewhat…welcomed
